This town of 41,000 is located strategically where the bountiful forest of the north meets agricultural prairie land.
The majority of Prince Albert rest on the sloping south bank of the North Saskatchewan River.
You'll be rewarded with an amazing view of the forest by traveling across to the north bank of the river.
The main industry in Prince Albert is forestry. This was nationally recognized in 1985,
when the town was designated as the Forest Capital of Canada. Other importants industries

French schools, a school for the handicapped and the $26 million Prince Albert Technical Institute.
