actual lake's (with the same name) western shore. The main industry is agriculture
with an abundance of grain elevators and crop yields. While the immediate land within
the area is suitable for grain and cattle production, the surrounding areas are up to 800 feet
higher and covered in mixed-wood forests that supply the local forestry industries.
The sport facilities within the community include skating and curling rinks,
18-hole grass-green golf course, tennis courts, 5 ball diamonds, an indoor swimming pool, race track, stampede grounds,
gun range, regional park, five municipal parks and a soccer field.
