This community lies north of downtown, on the west bank of the South Saskatchewan River and (generally) east of Warman Rd. It is close to the industrial employment, and the airport, and has views across the river of the University of Saskatchewan campus.
SchoolsThis neighbourhood has 2 public elementary schools and 1 Catholic elementary school. The public library's main branch is close by in downtown or to the north in the Mall at Lawson Heights. High schools are out side the neighbourhood but SIAST's Kelsey Institute is just to the west and The university of Saskatchewan campus is just to the south and across the river. Shopping
There are some local shops in a strip mall located on Alexandra Avenue., but there is plenty of shopping nearby in the downtown or to the north in Canarama Centre,or the Mall at Lawson Heights
RecreationThis neighbourhood has a number of small city parks, as well as the George D Archibald Park with an indoor ice arena, baseball diamond and soccer fields, as well as access to the riverfront Meewasin Trail recreational pathway. The area is close to the famous Granite Curling Club, just to the south. For culture enthusiasts, there is the 25th Street Theatre as well as the Mendel Art Gallery and Civic Conservatory in Kinsmen Park, which also has the century-old Kinsmen Park Rides amusement area. Just to the west is the Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre and The Sands Golf Dome. HomesThere are some historic pre-World War II dwellings in North Park, , though most dwellings in this area date to the 1950s and 1960s.
