As a university town, Saskatoon is said to have the highest per-capita number of restaurants in Canada, with several hundred restaurants. They range from diners and fast food for families and a quick bite, up to the four-star establishments where first class visitors can enjoy a nice dinner for easily a hundred dollars, before wine. Saskatchewan is more than steaks, and has its fair share of seafood and a full complement of almost any ethnic cuisine you can imagine. The region's youth also make for thriving nightlife.
